The bridge is becoming two-way

The bridge is becoming two-way

Not every development update needs a node graph or a benchmark.

Sometimes it's just two tired developers looking at the screen and realizing that something they've been working on finally works. :)

This time, it's an important one.

We're working on reverse conversion from Blender to 3ds Max.

NodeFlow Platform originally started with a clear goal: make it easier to bring existing 3ds Max assets into Blender without rebuilding everything manually.

But from the beginning, the bigger idea was never just a one-way converter. We want to build a bridge between 3D ecosystems and give artists more freedom to move between the tools they use.

3ds Max → Blender is already here.

Now we're working on the other direction: Blender → 3ds Max.

It's still in development and there is plenty of testing ahead. But the first pieces are working.

And yes — that's why we look tired and happy at the same time. 😄

The bridge is becoming two-way.

The journal keeps going

The other entries, one material taken apart node by node and an honest list of what still doesn't work are all in the Lab.
