6. Open-Source Components
Some components of NodeFlow Platform are distributed as free and open-source software under their own licences.
In particular, the NodeFlow add-ons for Blender are licensed under the **GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later)**. This includes the add-ons distributed from our website and those distributed through third-party extension platforms.
For those components:
- the applicable open-source licence governs and prevails over Sections 5 and 10 of these Terms;
- nothing in these Terms restricts, limits, or adds any condition to the rights granted by that licence, including the rights to use, study, copy, modify, and redistribute the software;
- the complete corresponding source code is the distributed package itself: it contains human-readable source code, with no compiled, obfuscated, or otherwise unreadable components.
Sections 5 and 10 continue to apply in full to every other part of the Platform, which remains proprietary and is **not** distributed under an open-source licence, including:
- the server-side conversion service;
- the website and web interfaces;
- the APIs;
- the plugins for 3ds Max.
7. User Content and 3D Assets
NodeFlow Platform allows users to process their own digital assets and project files.
User Content may include:
- 3D scenes;
- geometry data;
- materials;
- textures;
- project files;
- exported conversion data.
Users retain ownership of their uploaded content. By using NodeFlow Platform, you grant us a limited technical permission to process your files only for the purpose of providing the Service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.
Storage and deletion.
Uploaded files and conversion results are stored only for as long as is needed to provide the Service. Your account settings include a retention period for finished jobs; when it expires, the files are removed from our servers. You may also delete a job at any time from your account or from the NodeFlow add-on. Deleted files cannot be recovered. A record of the job itself is kept after its files are removed, for statistics, billing, and
